The Crowd & The Cloud: Three minute clip from the upcoming public TV series, THE CROWD & THE CLOUD, on citizen science, Big Data and mobile technology, sponsored by NSF. This rough cut segment introduces the work of Propeller Health in Louisville KY adding sensors to asthma inhalers to generate real time maps for patients and physicians, showing where and when attacks are triggered. The City of Louisville is closely monitoring this pilot study in the hopes of improving air quality, benefiting both public health and the city’s economy. CROWD & CLOUD, hosted by former NASA Chief Scientist, Waleed Abdalati, will premiere in March and April 2017: for more information, // @CrowdAndCloudTV //
